Website In the current climate much has been said about the efficacy of artificial intelligence for video game production. However, the reality is far more nuanced than is often advertised. This session will provide an introductory overview the different strands of AI and how we use them within games. Plus, we combat many of the myths and misconceptions about Generative AI (both positive and negative) and show while there is opportunity for adoption in specific use cases, there is need to ensure policies are in place to protect your intellectual property, your workflow, and studio culture.

Our expert is Tommy Thompson, Director of "AI and Games" who will offer you a hype-free overview of AI for the games industry. He works as a Game AI summit advisor for the Game Developers Conference (GDC) and is the lead organiser of the AI and Games Conference.

This is a Masterclass organized by medianet and funded by Medienboard BerlinBrandenburg that targets professionals of the games industry. It is held in English. Your registration does not guarantee acceptance. You will be notified separately about your admission.
